• Introduce yourself. Who are you?
  • My name is Rachel Nicole. I am a photographer, model, and graphic designer with about 10k hobbies on the side. I love to travel and adventure around, literally anywhere, and I am a free spirit if I ever knew one. Coffee is my love language and I really just like to have fun.

  • What’s the best advice you’ve ever received when it comes to your craft?
  • There’s no right or wrong way to do art. Figure out what makes your art unique and OWN that shit. It’s yours, no one can say that you’re doing something wrong if it is right for you.

  • What message do you think every content creator/model should hear?
  • Your work is not who you are. I recently read an article about this, and it hit me so hard. It’s so easy for something you have put so much heart and soul into to become just an extension of who you are, but in doing that, you invite all the criticism your art will receive right in to your own heart in how it affects you. Your art is full of meaning and, I am sure, that is something you do not take lightly, but you have to separate yourself from that, because your art is not what defines you.

  • What do you do on a daily basis to grow and move forward in your craft?
  • Always practice! Get out and shoot, model, whatever, just practice. However that looks like for you, you can’t let it sit and do nothing about it or your passion and craft will die.

  • What is one thing people would be surprised to hear about you?
  • I actually don’t love drawing that much. It really stresses me out because I always feel pressured that I have to be good at it. When people hear “artist”, they think drawing. I have to be in SUCH a mood to love drawing, and honestly I only draw once or twice a year. Doodling on the other hand, oh. all. day. long.

  • Outside of modeling, what are your biggest passions?
  • Well, photography and graphic design, definitely. But I have a strong passion, desire, and love for travel and experiencing new cultures and different places that I am not used to going to or seeing everyday. I also love to hand letter and interior decorate, when I get the chance.

  • Where do you find inspiration?
  • Everywhere! Whether that be on social media, or in the city, going to a coffee shop, on an adventure, people watching, listening to music...the list goes on and on. A big thing for me though is to surround myself with people who are going places. Their motivation inspires me in my dreams and goals, and creatively as well. I love to be moving and changing!

  • Anything else you’d like to share?
  • Don’t give up if you have a bad idea. Know when to move on, but don’t give up if one thing doesn’t work out the way you wanted it to or thought it would. That is what you will regret for the rest of your life.
